Lets put down the rules for easy reference:
- Keeping down the carbohydrates intake daily - not more than 20 grams each day.
- Eating three main meals a day or 4 to 5 small meals, to achieve satiety.
- NO potatoes, pasta, fruits, bread, dairy products (except aged-cheese), sugar. Starchy-vegetables and foods are out of the question.
- NO tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol.
- Eight glasses of water to avoid constipation and to facilitate the elimination of substances resulting from burning fats.
- Eat liberally of combinations of fat and protein in the form of poultry, fish, shellfish, eggs, and red meat, as well as pure, natural fat in the form of butter, mayonnaise, olive oil, safflower, sunflower and other vegetable oils (preferably expeller-pressed or cold-pressed).
- Eat only allowed vegetables.
